It is located outside of Idaho City and 36 miles from Boise Idaho in its own little valley and is the only business in the area other than the Library that provides wireless internet at no charge.
The lodge is central to camping, hiking, fishing, and various other outdoor activities which can be enjoyed year round.
Micki's Clear Creek Cafe is ajoined to the lodge. If you want a great meal you can afford without taking out a second mortgage it is well worth the trip.
